Happy Thursday.

Man, I've got A LOT to blog about!
Well, I did blog on Jan 10, but I accidentally deleted it as I was uploading my last photo for that post. I was pissed and bummed!
So until I blog about the earlier happenings of this month, I leave you with these fine photo gems...

Throwback Thursday: Canon!

Man, it's been a while since I've used these gems! Oh the memories that come rushing back from all the wonderful photography shoots that I've had.  I'll always be grateful to my Mom for letting me experiment with her cameras, as a little girl.  I remember my very first photo experience was taking "wedding" photos of my Barbies & Ken.  I recall just how cool it was having a tangible memento of a once in a lifetime moment.  That is what always brings me back to my true love of photography; capturing a split second of time, never to be repeated and always to be appreciated through photography.

 Thanks Mom.
(btw, that's her camera on the right...well, was her camera)

Throwback Thursday: Toddler Edition.

I found some baby photos of Levi tonight. OH MAN...I can't get over how ridiculously cute he was as a baby and little boy!! Seriously, I just want to pinch those cheeks! Luckily, he still has a little of those cheeks left, so I can kiss 'em.  My gosh....this little boy is too cute for words.  Just thought I'd do a side-by-side to imagine what our kids will look like someday.  I look forward to that day!  Man, I can't stop lookin' at his baby pics, they make me chuckle cause he was so adorable! LOVE IT!!

Square Life: February/March

Life, via Instagram...
Finally tried the greatness which is Smashburger.  Oh man, seriously dig that place! And those fries are too good!

Enjoyed Sunday Brunch at Bali Hai restaurant today.  What a perfectly gorgeous day!  Fantastic views and SCRUMPTIOUS food!! I was so stuffed, I didn't eat anything for the rest of the day.  Did I mention it was DELISH!??!

I think I'm part Otter.  Poor Levi, I think I need to have a barrier sometimes.

Birch Aquarium - Beautiful fishes and aquatic life!

I definitely need to frame this post card.  I love it so much!

Spent an evening with Hermanita eating Carne Asada Fries @ Lolita's in Bonita.  Probably the BEST Mexican food EVER! Their Chimichangas are AMAAAAZING!

I got this fortune on my one month mark! I had to chuckle to myself!

I'm grateful for all the jobs I had up until this one, to teach me the things that I use daily.
Nicolosi's in El Cajon... it was good the first time, but it sure as hell can't beat Filippi's!

I felt like I was about 6 years old, using this at work.

Did a lil shoppin' at Sprout's...couldn't help but chuckle at this sign.

Had the opportunity to attend a baptism at my old ward.  How I wish I could turn back time because I miss ALL of my dear friends from CVYSA.

Valentine's at it's finest....

I was surprised with this lovely arrangement of Tulips, at work!! Oh how I love my sweetheart so!  (I just pulled the flowers out of its ProFlowers box, so they were VERY thirsty)  I loved the chocolates that came along with them, but the card was my favorite.  My sweetheart writes the most endearing and sweetest cards.  I felt so special receiving this sweet gift!  He's so thoughtful!

I loved the card I got for him.  It played "Wild Thing" when opened.

We spent our Saturday cruising around San Diego taking photos.  We ventured to new places, in and around North Park & Golden Hills, which had a nice view of the SD skyline.  Enjoyed some sundaes at Mr. Frostie and checked out Crystal Pier for the first time (for me).  That pier worked my nerves.  Poor Levi's hand was a lil red after I held on to it so tight! It's nothing like IB...those dang wood planks shouldn't move so much! Eeek!

Levi made us reservations at Buca de Beppo...where it all started.  I loved being there with him.  I'm just glad I wasn't as nervous as that first date.  So many things came to mind, as I sat there across from him.  I thought about our first conversations.  I thought about how much I wanted to reach across the table and hold his hand.  I also thought about how cute he was to play footsies with me under the table, on our first date.  In all of my reminiscing, I couldn't help but think of how lucky I've been these last 16 months.  I wish I had known on that Sunday evening, that I was embarking on best adventure of love, happiness, humor and friendship!   My card really is true, happiness is found in loving and being loved in return...especially from my Levi.  I never dremt that I'd get this lucky to have the best Valentine in the world....oh how I love him with all of my heart!

I like seeing my Valentine's flowers in front of my Vday 2013 gift, my hope chest that Levi made.

Julian!

This past weekend, Levi and I headed up to Julian  It's about a 50 mile trip up the mountain.  I haven't been to Julian since I was a teenager, and in that time I totally forgot about how windy the road is on the way to Julian  Oh man, I should have taken a Dramamine!  I'm so glad Levi drove.
Anywhooo, we got up to Julian and walked around, checking out all the lil shops on Main Street.

We were also able to get some great shots of the fall foliage....

It was so wonderful to see the beautiful colors that Autumn has to offer!  It makes me long for the east coast!!  I miss it so much! I miss seeing so many trees with red, orange and yellow leaves!  I'm so glad I can get a lil piece of New Jersey, here in San Diego!
We walked around and took more photos! I love going on photo adventures with Levi.

Julian's such a quaint lil town that sometimes it's hard to believe that it exists here in San Diego.  I love being able to go from the ocean to the mountain in just under 60 miles.
To complete our lil Julian adventure, we had to eat some yummy apple pie, of course! Julian's known for their apples, apple pies & apple cider!  Oh man! We hit up Julian Pie Co. and that windy trip up the mountain was all worth it!

I ordered the Caramel Dutch Apple Pie with Cinnamon Ice Cream! Oh man---AMAZINGLY DELISH!!! I seriously LOVED IT!!!!!!  Levi ordered the Dutch Apple Pie w/ Vanilla Ice Cream, and we both had the Hot Caramel Apple Cider (which was HEAVENLY!!!!!)
All in all, it was a lot of fun and I always love any reason I have to pull out my pea coat! It was a bit chilly up in there, about 55 degrees! Wowzers!  But I loved it though! Thanks for the great idea, Levi!

Softball shots.

Just thought I'd share a few photos from Wednesday night's church softball game.
I've gotta say, I think stop action sports photos are amongst my favorite types of photo shoots.  I love when I can get a terrific stop action shot, as well as capturing the facial expression of an athlete!

Then when I get such great shots, I can't help but be even more grateful for my awesome camera!
Thank you Levi ♥

{enjoy the photos!}
