Fry-day!

Dude, it's unbelievably hot!! I DO NOT think I was made for the heat-AT ALL!!! I like winters, really I do. I would rather bundle up, drink some HoCho and stay in doors. In the heat, you can only take off so much and go swimming and that's about it....and you're still cranky! NO THANKS!!

Hmm...what else. I finally got to hang out with my best friend Liz. I haven't seen her for a while even though we live right across the street from each other. I started to miss her. Last night I had a nightmare that she died and that brought on a lot of sadness upon waking up. I would miss her too much if such a thing happened. We've been friends practically since birth. I'm so grateful for her friendship and all the memories we've created throughout the years.

Tomorrow's Saturday...I get to go to the San Diego Temple, all day. It's different being back at the temple. I didn't realize how much I would have missed all my friends there, but I really did. I love the sisterhood and camaraderie that's found there. I love those I serve and serve with. It's such a blessing to be there.

Other than that...the job hunt continues. Oh man....wish me luck! Oh yeah, I'll be seeing the "Aston Martin" on Monday. Phew...a lil nervous. Actually VERY nervous. Oh geez...and Mr.NY will also be there. Wow, I can't wait til Monday!

I want this:

I can't believe I want this....but I do. A LOT!!!! I like the fact that it's an iPod, phone & camera in one. I never like leaving the house with out those three things....and the fact that I can have it all in one is AWESOME!!! I want this so much!!!

Other than that...work is okay today. The weather is truly "June Gloom". I talked to Mr.NY for a little bit today. I told him that I like the fact that his eye color changes, so every so often I check his eyes---which is basically a few seconds of getting to stare deeply in his beautiful eyes. (Cheesy, I know). But I think his eyes are cool since they change colors depending on what he's wearing. Two Christmases ago, I gave him a light brown shirt because I wanted to see if his eyes would be more hazel than blue. Today he's wearing 'my' shirt and they are 'hazel-y'. My best friend's eyes change colors depending on what she wears and that always tripped me out. I hope my future blonde hair, blue eyed lil boy has eyes like that.

I talked to Lee last night. He invited me over last night. I didn't feel like hangin' out with him (Thanks cramps!). Maybe I'll see what he's up to tomorrow after work. Hmm....we'll see.

Car Analogy: Revisted

This morning I was thinking of my Car Analogy blog. I am completely done with my "Kia" and I thoroughly enjoy my "Honda". However, sometimes I get comfortable with my "Honda" and would like to try something a lil more fun, upbeat and racy. And then I started thinking of the car I've always wanted to drive....an Aston Martin DB9!

It's definitely something new and exciting, right!? Something different from the norm...which is fun to try out every so often. I mean, I'm still making payments on my Honda...so for now, it's okay to try out other cars. However, after I own it permenantly, completely (in a year) I wouldn't feel the need to try anything else. (Stick with me on this....) Well, in short, I've been 'test driving' an Aston Martin DB9 (aka: "Lee")... and it's been F.U.N.!! I forgot what fun felt like. Comfortable and practical is what I was becoming use to. Sensible is good, but one has to live a little, sometimes! I would never ditch my 'Honda'-too much time and effort has gone into it....but we're not a permenant match-yet. So it's okay for me to 'test drive' the "Aston Martin". I have fun with the "Aston Martin" and sometimes I've gotta be careful. Sports cars are fun, but if not handled properly, it can be dangerous. So for now I'm out on a test run, be back soon "Honda"!
