Tuesday's Randomonium.

Sometimes, it's just nice to post a picture in a blog entry...even when it's random. (2 friends that I miss and can't wait to see again super soon!)

I think I'll go for random today:

-Dayquil, Orange Juice & water are my new best friends these days. I'd really like to get over this cold soon!

-I'm kinda bummed that I won't be going to SLC for the First Presidency's Christmas devotional. I was really looking forward to it. Hangin' out with one of my ol' mission comps, eating at the Pie pizzeria and doing a session at the SLC temple! How much more awesome could it be?! er, 'could have been'. Oh well, maybe another weekend. :)

-My brother & sister-in-law returned from Savannah, Georgia. My brother thought it would be a nice to get me this:

<----------THIS! This of all things!! How can I, as a true SD Padres & NY Yankees fan, wear THIS?!! Oh well, it's cool. Maybe I'll wear it to work tomorrow...so I don't have to do laundry. Sad, so sad. Or on second thought, I better not. Mr. NY might never talk to me again. Hey, at least it's not a Boston Red Sox jersey. Eh, same difference.

-Tomorrow, they'll be passing out Turkeys at work! I'm kinda surprised as to how much I'm looking forward to it. Odd, I know. Maybe cause that means the Holidays will really be here soon. Other than that, I think it's really cool! I like this company!

-I'm starting my new book, "Peony in Love". I hope it's good! I really loved reading "Marley & Me" and I look forward to the day I own a German Shepherd, named "Dude".

Wednesday.

It’s 10:33am. I could go back to bed, again. I’m so unbelievably tired. I HAVE TO stick to the strict schedule of my antibiotics or else it’s one step forward, five steps back. 7am/1pm/7pm/1am. Easy right? Sure, I guess. I usually don’t wake up earlier than 8am. I may be awake at 1am, but the downside to taking these pills is that I have to take it with “plenty of water”. I don’t know what “plenty” should be? 8oz? 32oz? Til the pill goes down? I'm not sure--so out of fear I drink 3 glasses of water. If and when I do fall asleep, I’ll just have to get up at least twice before waking up at 7am. Which is what happened last night with an additional wake up at 6am due to the neighbor’s dang dogs. I’m so ttttttiiiiirrrrrrreeeeeeeeeedddddddd!!!
Speakin’ of ‘neighbor’s dang dogs’, he brought over his newest puppy yesterday. OH MY GOODNESS!! SO DANG CUTE!! I can’t blame this one for barking, he’s too tiny. But isn’t he so adorable!!!
I can't wait to get "Dude"

Baxter George.

  • YAAAAAAY!! I'm so stoked! I get to dog-sit this weekend! I know, dog-sit, how many people are this excited to dog-sit? I am, I am! I didn't grow up around dogs so I've always been quite fearful of them. Going to New Jersey wasn't helpful either because it seemed like EVERYONE had at least 2 pets per household (majority being dogs). However, Baxter's different.
  • He's older and slightly blind so he's pretty gentle. I love that! Plus (MAJOR PLUS) he doesn't bark or jump up on people because that really terrifies me and I don't do so well at hiding my fear. He's such a teddy bear and always comes over to sit at your feet. I love walking him too and getting to brush him. Oooh! I'm so stoked!! Hanging out with Baxter always makes me look forward to the day I'll be able to get my own dog--a German Shepherd named "Dude".

  • And as an added bonus I get to hang out at my friends' uber quiet house while they're gone. A house party is FAR from my mind. I can't wait to just sit on their comfortably cozy couch and read, read, read---oh and watch the Padres take down the Mets on their ginormous HDTV. Wow, I almost feel like I'm the one going on vacation.
