Cinco: 5 on 5 {favorites!}

1. I am a fan of my Levi. He listens to me and talk and talk and talk and talk. He is patient and loves me to no end. He endures my moments of being feisty.  He's my best friend and I am beyond lucky.

2. Pottery! I could seriously play this game ALL DAY, EVERY DAY!!! 

3. Anytime I get to talk with my nephews & niece is a good day!  I'm thankful I was able to talk to 3 out of 4 of them.  I could only chat w/ the oldest one, but that was still so nice.

4.  I was able to do a lil service for one of my visiting teaching sisters by making cookies for her mom's funeral.  Sometimes, service isn't convenient, but I did my very best to be in a good mood so late at night.  I had a very nice experience and thoroughly enjoyed making 8 dozen cookies!

5. I'm looking forward to starting this with Levi, this week!  I love activities that bring us together!  Plus, it'll help our health improve.  To be honest, I can't wait to start using my new Aelec earphones at the gym!

I seriously love this song. It's the type of song I want to cuddle to.  A song you listen to after a long and trying day.  Exactly the type of song I want to rest my head on Levi's chest to.  

The Friday Night Knitting Club 

I started this book last year, but have recently picked it back up .  I just love it!  Although I should be finishing the last 1,400 pages of Les Miserables before Dec. 10 and currently reading Ender's Game for my Nov. 4 book club, I just love this book!!  

Filippi's - Garlic Cheese Bread

I don't know if it was because we were starving after church, on Sunday....but man,that garlic cheese bread was like manna from heaven! I LOVE mozzarella cheese! And man oh man, it was totally delish on garlic bread! I think I blame my starvin' hunger to me loving this bread so much!

I just love how happy we both look. I love the vibrant colors and this man is just so dang cute! It was such a fun date!!

Kristen Bell's Sloth Meltdown

I don't care how many times I watch this, I can't help but laugh and tear up just a little.  I know that I would act EXACTLY the same way if I were able to hug a panda!  And I love the fact that Kristen Bell is just as emotional as I am... I cry whether I'm happy, I cry when I'm sad or mad...and if I'm talking with a friend who's crying, then I start crying too.  Seriously, I cry all the time. {Poor Levi}

5 Faves for Friday.....

1. Jack Johnson.....he makes life so much better. I'm so thankful for his music. I once met this guy who had never heard of the greatness of Jack, it made me so sad for him. I love Jack, he makes a bad day good and a good day better. "Waking up too early, Maybe we can sleep in, I'll make you banana pancakes...".

2. My Sister, Bec..... She makes my life better. I couldn't have been blessed with a more caring, loving, kind and trusting person in my life. I love our 'girl talk' moments and just hangin' out with her. She has a good and warm heart. Anyone would be so lucky to call her a friend. I'm tremendously blessed to call her my friend and sister. ♥

3. Friends....Can you imagine what like would be like without friends?? I mean, really, it'd be like a rosebush without roses. They make life sweeter amongst the thorns of life. I'm lucky to have the friends that I have in my life. They enrich my life so much, each and everyone of them, no matter the distance. I love them all dearly.

4. The Crushed Ice Machine @ Costco.....seriously, I LOOOOOOOOOOOOVE IT!!! As I type this, my mouth is already watering. Plus I need some pizza today!!! OH YUM!!

5. Mr.Red........although we haven't known each other very long, I'm so grateful for his friendship. I'm thankful that I can tell him ANYTHING & EVERYTHING and he never treats me any differently. He doesn't make me feel lame or stupid for some of the crazy/random things I've thrown his way. He's a very trustworthy person and in my book, that means the world to me. Of all the friendships that I've made this past year, his is the one I treasure most.

1. BFF's/Girlfriends: They are seriously the best! There's something endearing about female friendships. I was texting a friend this morning about a date she has tonight. I became so excited for her date and couldn't wait to hear the details of it. I told her to text/call me after her date tonight....but the part I enjoy is the fact that we can call each other ANY time of day or night. There's not a time limit as to when we can or can't call. I love having that with my closest girlfriends....knowing I can call at midnight after a date just to dish details--so much fun!!

2. Enjoying the rain, indoors: I love listening to the rain as it falls. There's something so relaxing and refreshing about it. After a rain fall, I love opening up the windows and just taking in the earth's aroma after it's been cleansed. So yummy!

3. My king-size Down Comforter: Five years ago, when I moved to Utah my very best friend StephyPooh gave me a Tempur-Pedic pillow (cause I LOVED her's from the mission) and a beloved yellow king-size Down Comforter-as a "Welcome to Utah!!" gift. Oh you have no idea how much I TRULY LOVE it!! When winter rolls around, I become so excited that I get to pull it out and use it!!! It's ubersoft and oh so cozy!!! I'm always reminded of her love and friendship when I use it. It's GREAT!!!

4.Supermint Extra Gum:

I happend to come across this when

the gas station didn't have my typical Polar Ice gum. Ever since then, I've been in love!! I LOVE this gum!! It is so dang delicious!! Makes my breath fresh in 2.2 seconds!!! The flavor lasts FOREVER!!! If you haven't tried this yet, you HAVE to!! TODAY!! LIKE RIGHT NOW!!!! (You can thank me later!)

5. Morgan: He's such a wonderful & SWEET guy!! I'm so truly grateful to get to know him again. He has a heart of gold!! He's like my BFF Bugs, but just in male form. It's easy being myself with him and he doesn't freak out by my lil crazy/funnny antics. Plus he listens AND responds accordingly (how many guys really do that?) I seriously can't wait til tomorrow! :)

1.The feeling of accomplishment as I walk out of the gym after a great work out!
2. Hugging my nephew Simi, who's about to leave on his 2 year mission to Fiji.
3. Reminiscing over the last 19 years of Simi's life: the day he was born, his curly baby hair, walking him to Kindergarten, the first time he passed Sacrament, fixing his hair for Prom, opening his mission call. I'm really going to miss him.
4. The fact that I have a date on Sunday!! It's been so loooooong!!!
5. My uber comfy queen size bed.

*Friday Fave Five*

-"Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day": LOVED IT!! Such a cute lil movie!! I especially LOVED the song Amy Adams sings--"If I Didn't Care". I just love the music from that time period. And I love the ending! CUTE CUTE CUTE!!

-Azuki Sushi Lounge: Went there for lunch today, with some of the girls from work. Oh man, I LOVED the ambience there. We ate outside on the patio. Such PERFECT weather!! The food was delicious and the house dressing is magnificent!! I love their sushi!!

-Bath & Body Work's Tropical Passionfruit lotion: OH MY HEAVENS!! SO SUPER YUMMY!! I love it!! It makes me feel so girly when I use it!! It's just sweet enough to use all the time. I love it! I would love it more if it wasn't out of season. Dang Bath & Body works.

-Baby Evelyn: My best friend's new baby girl. She is TOO CUTE for words. She makes me want to have baby girls now. Not like I have any babies now...it's just that I've always just wanted boys. But seeing her wrapped up in cute lil pink blankets make me want to have a lil girly girl. I'm just so ecstatic for my friend. She is a wonderful woman and will make a TERRIFIC Mom!!

-Perfect Crunchy Ice--Like the ice at the temple. Oh my gosh, I LOVE crunching ice!!! Oh man, I wish I had some right now!

Friday 5 Faves....

1.My brother "Wayhallan" came to visit from Arizona. It was cool just gettin' to kick it with him....he even came to play softball with my company.

2. The Billing department at work. SO SUPER QUIET!!! I LOVE IT!!

3. Going to the temple last night with my parents & 2 dear friends to celebrate my Kuku's (Grandfather) birthday. It was also the 7th anniversary of going thru the temple for the first time. It was a wonderful evening and I'm so glad for the blessing of attending the temple with dear loved ones.

4. Came across a guy last night, at the temple, who was visiting from New Zealand. OH MY HECK!! I forgot how much I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Maori accent!!! I want to go there!! I want to marry a man with a Maori or New York accent. OH I LOVE IT SO!!!

Friday Fave 5!

1. Peanut Butter Moo'd Jamba Juice Smoothie: I'm not the biggest fan of Peanut Butter (I didn't grow up on the stuff) but Jamba Juice turns me into one! It's the ONLY smoothie I ever get from there. Thank you JJ for making me fall in love with Peanut Butter.

2. My co-workers: We may not get along all the time, but I'm glad I work with them. So many different people from different backgrounds and walks of life. I'm glad to have met each and every one of them. They've all taught me something. Sometimes, it even feels like a family. We definitely put the FUN in DYSFUNCTIONAL. No doubt!

3. Ms. Ruby Red: OH SO MUCH FUN to drive!! I LOVE having a sunroof!!! I'm totally lovin' the color!! (my answer might be different after my first ticket). I'm so truly grateful to have a car again. I'll miss FoxyRoxy (my late Kia Sportage) and all the fun memories...but I know there's MANY more memories to be made with Ms. Ruby Red.

4. Cacique bras: THE BEST!! Totally puts 'the girls' right where they need to be!! 'Locked & Loaded' as Stacy & Clinton would say.

5.Bob Marley & The Wailers: I could listen to it for hours on end. But then I'd probably want to light some incense and dim the lights. SO UBER RELAXING!! Just the perfect way to end the work week.

Let's see...today's Friday and I'm glad the weekend's here. New Year's Eve was a BLAAAAAAAAST!!! I had so much fun!! I hung out with some ol' skool friends, friends from the mish and some fairly new ones...I loved it! Also, it was like being back in Utah...Mormon Boy Buffet--I was in heaven! New Years Eve is probably my new favorite holiday as well! :)

Other than that, work was okay today. I take that back, work was GREAT because my co-worker Mamacita brought me 6 homemade Tamales. YUMMY YUM YUM!! The ride home with her was interesting. She apologized for her brother who relentlessly tried to offer me alcohol on Christmas Eve. She told me that she understands where I come from when people try to push things against personal standards. I'm truly grateful to have friends that understand and respect my personal beliefs. That makes me happy to have them in my life.

Well....off to bed I go. I've got the Temple tomorrow and I get to hang out with Adrian tomorrow evening. Oh by the way, when is it considered just "hanging out" compared to an actual "date"? I've never known the answer to this! Once a friend said that it's a date "when the guy opens all your doors and pays for everything". I guess that's one way of seeing it. Wouldn't it be your intentions? Tomorrow night we're going to CPK for Red Velvet cake and AMC to watch a movie. I think we're just hangin' out. We're friends. My friends call it a "date". Well whatever it is, I can't wait to have fun!

**MY FRIDAY'S FAVE FIVE!**

1. First and foremost--getting to hang out w/ my brother Wayne last week!!! What an absolute blessing that has been!! I haven’t seen him in 6 years, so it was wonderful having him visit. It was nice feeling like a ‘lil sister’ to my two older brothers again. I wish he could have just stayed forever!!

2. Pandora.com - A friend turned me on to this earlier this week. Oh man, it’s been great!! I love using it!! A customized radio just for me!! LOVE IT!! It also introduces me to other artists in the same genre that I would have never come across. Check it out today!

3. Green tea ice cream & coconut crème brule at RA! - YUM TO THE TENTH POWER!!! This stuff is so EXTREMELY delicious, scrumptious, mouthwatering, (I could go on)! I HIGHLY recommend it to anyone who likes Sushi! (“Ra” is a sushi restaurant in the Gaslamp/Downtown SD)

4. A cool new blog: Found this blog while blog surfin’ today. I really like his take on music, because it’s pretty similar to what I listen to and reminds me of bands/artists that I haven’t listened to in a while. GREAT blog!

5. San Diego: I love living here SOOOOOOOOOOO much. Right now, it’s gorgeous outside, super sunny and the most perfect beach weather!! Actually, I am going to the beach in 2 hours. I LOVE IT! It’s always good to be home. There’s so much diversity here, which I LOVE & need! I love seeing people of different colors, cultures, religions, walks of life…it’s the best!
